Everyday silk loungewear care does not need to be complicated. The priorities are limiting unnecessary friction, high heat, and prolonged dampness. General guidance never replaces the garment care label.

Air and inspect after wear

After brief wear, let the garment air in a shaded, ventilated place before deciding whether washing is needed. Base that decision on perspiration, visible marks, and the wearing environment. Address stains promptly without vigorous rubbing.

Let the label choose the wash method

If hand washing is allowed, use cool water or the stated low temperature with a small amount of silk-suitable detergent. Press gently and rinse without delay. If machine washing is permitted, use a laundry bag and the specified gentle cycle.

Remove water gently

Do not wring the garment. Lay it on a clean towel and press lightly to absorb excess water, then restore its shape. Whether to dry flat or hang should follow the label and construction.

Avoid strong heat and light

Dry in shade with good airflow, away from prolonged direct sun, hot air, and tumble drying unless permitted. For wrinkles, follow the stated temperature and use a pressing cloth at low heat when allowed.

Store only when fully dry

Once clean and completely dry, place the garment in a breathable, dry space away from sharp jewelry, rough surfaces, and leaking cosmetics.
